SharePoint professionals need to ensure that submitted content adheres to established governance policies. At this week's SharePoint Conference in Las Vegas, Kodak Alaris is demonstrating solutions that help users consistently capture, organize and manage content, helping organizations maximize their investment in Microsoft SharePoint.
"The KODAK Info Activate Solution is helping users move critical data from paper and electronic documents into business processes that rely on Microsoft SharePoint," said David Constantine, Marketing Director, Software and Solutions, Kodak Alaris. "It makes capture simpler, workflow more organized, content more manageable, and integration completely seamless. Conference attendees will have an opportunity to see just how powerful and easy to operate the solution is."
In addition to the solutions showcased in Kodak Alaris' booth (#609), Constantine will present a session entitled "Document Management and Governance for SharePoint Made Easy" on Wednesday, March 5th, from 5:00–6:15 PM PST. Chris Beasley, Chief Operating Officer of Edge Digital Group, will join Constantine to share real-world examples of how Edge Digital and Kodak Alaris are helping customers deploy Info Activate Solution. Constantine will also explore ECM and Governance strategies and present a live case study demonstrating a solution that users can leverage whether they're in the office or on the road, regardless of what version of SharePoint they're using.
Info Activate Solution v2.0 (kodakalaris.com/go/infoactivatenews), introduced late last year, is designed to enable an easier, more consistent and cost-efficient way to capture, govern and manage data from electronic and paper documents within Microsoft SharePoint. Powered by a radically simple user interface, Info Activate v2.0 delivers significant updates including support for Microsoft SharePoint 2013 and new input capabilities for smartphones and multifunction peripherals (MFPs).
Taking its capabilities one step further, Info Activate Solution v2.0 supports mobile document capture by enabling users of Android and iOS smartphones to capture, index, and submit documents into SharePoint. In addition to Info Activate Solution v2.0, Kodak Alaris will offer demonstrations of the KODAK SCANMATE i940 Scanner.
